From its main office in Sassari (Sardinia, Italy), MVI builds and coordinates dedicated international teams of professionals that are experienced in European Project design and/or management. As well as passionate on the job volunteers to organized several activities in research, education and training in HEI / Adults / VET / Youth / Sport sectors.
MVI Board
Dr. Maria Grazia Pirina
Maria Grazia is the founder and President of MV International, she is also co-founder and Vice President of MVNGO, Project Manager, Trainer, Pr and Communication Expert. She is Executive Board Member of MV International network. She is the legal representative and coordinator of MVI’s activities in the field of hosting vocational training, EVS and youth mobility.
She also coordinates the establishment of all the local and international partnerships ensuring a high quality of learning and mobility experiences for participants in MVI’s activities at the local and international activities.
In the educational field, Dr. Pirina is a competent Trainer with experience in Non-Formal Education and ETS learning tested in various events in the local, European and international frame.
Dr. Roberto Solinas
Roberto is the mastermind behind the strategy and the concept of MVI and in charge of all the financial aspects.
His experience in the professional use of the Education Trough Sport (ETS) methodology was developed in and sanctioned by his involvement in several international projects in Europe and at the international level.
His wide expertise in different fields such as social entrepreneurship, intercultural dialogue, environmental issue and ETS represent a plus for the project team.
Dr. Giancarlo Masi
Giancarlo is project manager & designer at MV International. Thanks to his previous experience in cooperating with local non – profit associations, he has acquired management capabilities and developed high interest in creating opportunities for people with fewer opportunities. Indeed, he is passionate about social inclusion, social development and the use of Non – Formal Education and Education through Sport as a tool to foster personal growth.
His supervising the reporting processes and accountability.
Dr. Livia Magdovskova
Livia is working as a European project designer & project manager, and coordinator of the team on research and implementation of the Erasmus+ projects. She is an accredited professional for WELL Healthy Building Standard, committed to advancing human health in built environments and communities.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Development Programmes, a Master’s degree in Economic Diplomacy and International Relations, and Executive Master’s in Sustainable Management: Environment, Social, and Governance.
Livia was active in green and youth politics, worked on research on the green economy and climate change, and was a member of the Editorial Board and contributor to the international E-journal. She has working experience also in hospitality management and the real estate sector.
Mattia Cordioli
Mattia is experienced in covering different areas of project management and implementation. Mattia has actively involved in all activities concerned sectors of KA1 and KA2. He is NFE Trainer for Youth, Adults and Education Through Sports methodologies.
His focus is on cultural, social, and human rights issues and he is was coordinating MVI Social Campaign during the past years.

Dr. Giannangelo Boccuzzi
Giannangelo designs, writes EU project proposals and manages their implementation in the frame of Erasmus + programme and local Foundations. He is the contact person for Transnational European projects: relations with foreign and local partners and participants.
Dr. Melis Nazlı Turhal
Melis works as a consultant and project coordinator for EU supported programmes with almost 10 years of experiences in different fields such as research and innovation programmes, internationalization, digitalization and commercialization, capacity building and raising awareness. Her focus as to project topics in recent years were and are; climate, energy, smart cities, digitalization and health.
Dr. Giulio Brogi
Giulio holds a solid academic background with a M.A. in European Studies and International Relations from the University of Padua where he graduated in 2020. He further deepened his project management experience with specific professional courses.
Giulio’s focus is on EU-funded projects on Sport, Inclusion and Diversity, Innovation and Creativity and Non-Formal Education activities.
Dr. Christian Porstner
Christian is project manager. He holds a Master degree in literature, aesthetics and philosophy from Europa-University Viadrina, and has experience in the organization of cultural and art-related events.
Before joining MVI, he was head of staff at Sophiensaele Berlin, an internationally known theatre for contemporary dance and performance. With a passion for art, education and history, he is now investing his management and intercultural capacities for the benefit of non-Formal education.
Dr. Ornest Saraci
Dr. Aurora Halili
Aurora is experienced in contributing and managing educational projects in Europe and developing countries, thanks to her previous background on education, international cooperation and a master’s degree in Humanitarian Operations in Emergency.
Passionate in current affairs and social issues, she is also a language teacher and journalist, with the aim of changing the world in which she lives through her knowledge and her work, as well as her passion.
Dr. Lorena Loi
Lorena after her Master’s degree in International Relations, participated as a volunteer in two European Voluntary Services where she discovered the huge world of European Programmes. She has experience in the design, management, administration, and reporting of Erasmus + projects, European Youth Foundation, private foundations, and Regional Funds.
Lorena is Passionate about social and gender issues, she works with the aim of changing the world starting with small communities and rural areas.
Dr. Beatrice Spezzacatena
Beatrice graduated in law in 2020 and started her career as Codacons (italian consumer association) secretary, working strictly in contact with the public and developing her problem-solving skills and patience. Aligned to her passion for the Food sector she worked in “Mondodelvino” both in the logistic and quality office. As a trainee she was employed to improve her legal skills. Once she discovered the world of European grants she came to work for MVI. Though not tall be informed she has been a black belt of Aikido since 2019.
Dr. Emma Cognolato
Emma is MVI’s sports professional with a degree in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Physical Activities. The university career has enabled her to maintain and deepen the interest she has developed over the years in sports, both as a basketball athlete and as a mini basket instructor.
She is mainly interested in sports, physical activity and health education, adapted physical activity, social inclusion, use of Non-Formal Education and Education through Sport and promotion of health lifestyle. To test all this knowledge she keeps on working every day with her mini athletes and playing herself in Italianwomen’sbasketball third league.
Marco Faccin
Marco holds a Bachelor in Cultural Management at the University of Venice, a degree in EU project design, and He is attending a Master’s in Social Economy at the University of Bologna.
He is specialized in cultural and social projects and works for different organizations including MVNGO and MVI. Currently he is managing a NEXT GENERATION EU project in Italy in a UNESCO world heritage site.
Sonat Akyaz
Sonat is a multidisciplinary artist and art director passionate about creating better design strategies and experiences through contemporary aesthetics and problem-solving. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at Hacettepe University in Turkey also completed two Erasmus studying programme in Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Poland and Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Germany.
He practicing on commercial and non-commercial projects to find an intelligible language that will blur the boundary between art and design. Collaborated with a diverse group of teams and institutions located in Turkey and part of Europe.
Currently working on EU Projects visualisation and creation of dissemination materials includes websites, modules and manuals.
Sibel Sarsın
Sibel started as an European Volunteer at MVI in Sassari that transformed into a first work experience now as part-time employee She is a student at Ankara University and is majoring in Sinology.
Francesco Marini
Francesco with a multidisciplinary and multifaceted academic background – graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy and then decided to specialize in the field of communication and information. A field in which he was able to grow professionally by acquiring the tools for effective communication.
In continuity with previous experiences, he is in charge of the organization and implementation of project events, acting as a link between project participants and project managers. Francesco’s main interests are Gender Studies and the topic of economic and environmental sustainability.
Idil Basturk
Idil started as an European Volunteer at MVI in Sassari that transformed into a full-time employee She holds a Bachelor degree of English Language Teaching from Eskisehir Osmangazi University, and she now studies Business Administration at the Anadolu University. Her main interests are Education, Administration and Management.

Dr. Elisa Montaldo
Elisa took part a several Erasmus+ projects during her studies in law. She is experienced in law and administration, as well as in the reporting of Erasmus + projects, European Youth Foundation, private foundations, and Regional Funds.
Scrupulous, tenacious and punctilious like any jurist, Elisa is passionate about sport, animals, environment and social issues.
Dr. Elisa Mozzelin
Elisa is a PhD Candidate at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, mainly interested in the Philosophy of social Space, Political Ecology and, broadly speaking, in the intersection between space, Architecture and political power. In the past, she has worked in the field of Project Management for Social Inclusion in different organizations, municipalities, and private entities throughout Italy.
Dr. Martina Chessa
Martina is dealing respectively with the reporting side and the implementation side of the projects. She’s graduated in International Sciences and has a Master’s degree in Area and Global Studies for International Cooperation, with specific certification in Latin American area studies. She currently is engaged at MVI through an internship, offered by a regional grant ‘Garanzia Giovanni’ that is pat of the EU’s Social Cohesion Fund.
Throughout her life she always occupied her free time travelling, hiking and volunteering especially with children and migrants.
Dr. Giulia Manca
Giulia graduated in Political Science and International Relations. Currently engaged at MVI as Intern through the University of Sassari, previously she worked for several international associations as a content writer in marketing. In particular, she has collaborated on writing articles on environmental sustainability.
Giulia loves to help people in difficulty, in fact she has been part of numerous voluntary associations in Cagliari (Sardinia), where she has helped women and elderly. Her passion is travelling the world, taking photographs and being able to write about every hidden corner.
Ionut Barb
Ionut is involved in the Erasmus+ field from a young age. At 19, he discovered his love for the Erasmus+ program and started volunteering for a Non-Governmental Organisation in Romania. In 2022 he was hosted as Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs at MVi that as well as his cross-border exchange(s), resulted a continuation of co-worker for MVI and in the launch of a NGO with a group of young people in Romania – aiming to provide more opportunities for young people in rural areas.
Ilaria Diana
Ilaria recently graduated in linguistic and cultural mediation at the University of Sassari. She worked as a hostess and as a teacher at several primary schools in Sassari and neighbouring towns, .as well as waitress in several restaurants on the Emerald Coast in Sardinia – aligning her passion for cooking. Nowadays engaged at MVI through the Italian national volunteering programme called “Servizio Civile Universale”.
She likes to be in close contact with people and help those in need. She also likes teaching and children and that is why she chose to teach primary school. Her biggest dream is to work in a company and deal with administrative bureaucracy. Besides this she loves travelling, being in close contact with new cultures and traditions, dancing and tracking.

Kobe
Kobe
Kobe is expert in PET therapy and he reigns over the office’s shared pent/club-house. Experienced in bon ton and communication, he supports managing workspaces and relationships with partners and MVI team. Thanks to his diet of croquettes and Italian cuisine, he recently obtained his master’s degree in speed operations and long jumping.
Kobe furthermore is a strict teacher, likes to punish those who do not abide by the rules with scratches and effective bites, aiming to change the world he lives in through his vision.

Dr. Alessandro Pinna
Alessandro is a Linguistic and Cultural Mediator with a profound societal, political and historic knowledge. He is engaged with MVI since 2014, and became an expert in grant design in various European programmes as well as other private foundations of national and international dimension – through which from 2015 to 2019 as President he co-build the foundations of today’s MVI.
Dr. Samanta Sedda
Samanta is engaged as Sr. Project Designer and Manager, in disparate European projects and actions: as well as other private foundations of national and international dimension. Furthermore, she acts as NFE Trainer & Facilitator, and Linguistic & Cultural Mediator
She oversees project implementation and supports / configures initiatives (like Training Courses, Seminars, Youth Exchanges etc.) in Erasmus Plus and EYF initiatives.
Johannes de Waal
Johannes supports MVI’s development as a whole and is involved in its office management – by means of ‘frugal adoption’ of policies alignment to EU priorities / values, as well as processes; facilities; and trends that he monitors (on the job) at leading innovative institutions and organizations.
He studied physics at the TU-Delft and economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Since then, Johannes pioneers and ventures realization and execution of a wide range of business services for starting SME’s up to leading innovative institutes, companies around Europe and Azia. Such includes strategic cluster initiatives (like MVI) and have a common aim of cross-sector integration of technological and social innovation in order to impact quality, circularity and market / stakeholder reach – by means of co-creation and inclusive development.
Dr. Alexandra Vasina
Dr. Alexandra Vasina is engaged as Sport ambassador at MVI. She is a former synchronized Swimming Olympic Athlete and World Champion, Synchronized swimming and nowadays coach, aqua gym instructor in Sardinia.
Alexandra enjoyed also business experience as head of the marketing department of BoscoSport department in Moscow. She is graduated in sociology; with a specialization in communication at the Moscow state University, and in physical culture and sports Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism.

Dasha Arystava
Dasha – is long-term ESC volunteer from ….. (Belarus). She has a degree of international cultural relations management from the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. Experienced in public, private and non-governmental organizations as a youth worker, educator, trainer, facilitator, recruiter, HR, social media and project manager. She is a EU4Youth Alumni Network member.
Şeyma Özdemir
Şeyma is long-term ESC volunteer from …. (Turkeye). amd has worked as a volunteer in various associations since his high school years. She graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Psychology in 2022.
Rümeysa Bölükbaşı
Rümeysa is long-term ESC volunteer from …. She graduated from Istanbul Esenyurt University in Political Science and International Relations. She participated in many seminars and training courses during her school life. She loves improving herself and discovering new things.
