EYS2026 – Echo

MV International - EYS 2026

Echo

ECHO is the participatory pillar of the MVI 2026 programme, creating spaces where young people can express their ideas, exchange perspectives and actively contribute to shaping more inclusive, democratic and sustainable communities. Built on the principles of dialogue, collaboration and active citizenship, ECHO promotes meaningful youth participation at local, national and European level.

Through a series of interactive initiatives, ECHO encourages young people to engage with topics that matter to their lives and communities, including democracy, digital citizenship, environmental sustainability, social inclusion and European values. Rather than being passive participants, young people are recognised as partners in dialogue and contributors to social change.

The programme combines non-formal education, participatory methodologies and intercultural exchange to foster critical thinking, civic engagement and collaborative problem-solving. By bringing together young people, youth organisations and stakeholders, ECHO creates opportunities to share experiences, develop ideas and strengthen connections across the MV International network.

ECHO includes a range of activities designed to support youth dialogue and participation, such as Youth Assemblies, EchoSpaces and Green Echo initiatives. Each activity contributes to building stronger civic engagement, encouraging young people to take an active role in their communities while supporting the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy and strengthening cooperation within European civil society.

This section showcases the initiatives developed under ECHO, highlighting how dialogue, participation and collaboration empower young people to become active citizens and positive agents of change across Europe.
