The second edition of the MV International Newsletter, published in August 2026, reflects a network moving from ideas into action. As the year enters its final months, the publication brings together youth participation, digital citizenship, sport and education, migration and inclusion under a common theme: creating stronger impact through cooperation.
A major focus is EYS 2026, developed through the Erasmus+ Operating Grant. The programme combines non-formal education, intercultural dialogue and youth-led action, creating opportunities for young people, youth workers, civil-society organisations and MVI partners. In July, ten young Digital Ambassadors from across the network participated in the Digital Ambassadors for Positive Online Change workshop, examining misinformation, hate speech, responsible digital citizenship and democratic participation.
These conversations are now becoming tangible outputs through Voices Amplified. Young participants are developing podcasts, videos, infographics, articles and social-media content addressing misinformation, digital responsibility and EU Youth Dialogue values. The newsletter also introduces Decoding Disinfo: Young Fact-Checkers vs. Hate Speech, a conversational podcast exploring how misinformation and stereotypes develop online and the importance of critical thinking, verification, empathy and respectful dialogue.
The coming months will extend this work beyond digital spaces. On 22–23 October 2026, MVI will participate in the International Conference on Sports & Education in Thessaloniki, where researchers, educators, policymakers and practitioners will explore sport’s contribution to education, health, inclusion and community development.
November will bring another network-wide moment through the “Youth Against Misinformation” Campaign. Members and partners are invited to organise activities, involve young people in content creation, translate campaign materials and share national perspectives, collectively supporting safer and more democratic digital environments.
The edition also announces U-CIRCLE, funded under the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. The project will support Ukrainian women and families through mentoring, employability training, work-based learning and improved access to services, while building a wider European stakeholder network. Through its network of 37 NGOs, MVI will contribute to exchanging practices and strengthening cooperation across borders.
More than a record of activities, the August newsletter is therefore a call to participate: to contribute experience, share project ideas and help turn local knowledge into stronger European initiatives. The next MVI newsletter is scheduled for December 2026.
