Skills for Engagement & Impact: Launching the First Training Cycle

The Skills for Engagement & Impact Academy begins its first training cycle, bringing together youth workers, educators and civil society professionals from across the MV International network to strengthen their competences in youth participation, civic engagement and non-formal education.

Designed as a collaborative learning experience, the training cycle provides participants with practical knowledge and innovative methodologies that can be directly applied in their daily work with young people. Through a blended learning approach combining online and face-to-face activities, participants will explore new ways of fostering active citizenship, encouraging democratic participation and creating inclusive learning environments.

Throughout the programme, participants will engage with topics such as digital youth engagement, gamification, communication strategies and European youth policies. Interactive workshops, peer learning and collaborative discussions will encourage the exchange of experiences and good practices among organisations working in different national contexts.

A distinctive feature of the training cycle is its co-creation approach. Participants are not only learners but also contributors, sharing successful methodologies, practical activities and project experiences that will help enrich the Academy’s growing collection of learning resources. This collaborative process strengthens the network while supporting the development of practical tools that can benefit youth workers across Europe.

The first Skills for Engagement & Impact training cycle represents an important step in building a stronger community of youth professionals equipped to respond to today’s social, digital and democratic challenges. By investing in their skills and encouraging international collaboration, the Academy contributes to creating more engaging opportunities for young people to participate actively in their communities and in European civic life.
